13 Jan, 2017 at 6:50 am #7This is interesting. Freedom and freedom of speech is being tested. Most nations have strict rules against defacing or destroying flags, as flag is a source of identity. Following moderation in every walk of life is a good way to establish some normalcy.11 Jan, 2017 at 6:10 am #4If Akram is not attending the hearings a notice can be issued. What s wrong here? Yes I do get it that major is more powerful but in this case the court seems to exert that everyone has to follow the law. Am I missing something here?10 Jan, 2017 at 7:23 am #3The first and foremost issue is the inability to think and then act as “We. Us, Ours”. It starts from me to think as “We” but I expect others to take first step. Once I start thinking and acting as “We”, it will be easier to establish “Our” priorities. Until then it will always be “My” priority. The Zardari and Sharif that are cursed all the time are supported blindly all the time and by many including me. How ill they change until I change.Atif sahib , you make a very valid point. Suggesting a solution is definitely a great step forward and once we do it, then I should also start acting on it.10 Jan, 2017 at 7:13 am #7“Misbah should have been forced out. We need Salman Butt, Umar Akmal, Mohmmad Asif, Sharjeel Khan, Shoainb Maqsood, Harris Sohail back in the mix.”Shirazi jee,I agree that Misbah should have been retired or should retire now. As far as your other suggested additions are concerned, please let me understand how it will help us improve bowling. Yes Mohammad Asif is there but beyond that all your additions are batsmen. Secondly this “could” give us some depth to compete in short term, but in long term it will not solve our issues. We have a serious issue and until our governments support sports, we will not be a cricket force anymore. All of our sports are not history and cricket is next, if we continue with the apathy.7 Jan, 2017 at 8:27 pm #3Many will disagree with Altaf sahib and his politics and his philosophy and his approach and many will agree with him, yet there is one fact that Altaf sahib has been able to remotely control his followers for a long time . 25 years is a long time for a leader to be physically away from the followers. He still retains great followership. There could be many logical and many illogical reasons for this commitment of followers but we cannot deny the existence of commitment of his followers to him. -
