Shirazi jee, you have listed some valid contradictions in Bhutto’s message for masses and his actions. In my opinion it was not the feudal in Bhutto that caused his demise. I think he tried to become what he was not and this created his problem. Had he remained steadfast to what he was and would not have opted to appease a smaller section of society, he could have survived. I dont think he was “so called” liberal. I think he was a genuine liberal but opted to become conservative that didnt served him well. I dont know why he did that. Perhaps he became scared or perhaps he had that one  weak moment which led to a decision that ultimately created a snowballed effect.Regardless, in my opinion there has been no one like him in our politics.

Yes he has been resisting for many years. His consistency is now in question. Hasnt been consistent at all. In fact has been consistent being inconsistent since start of 2016. Despite that a great player and has served Pakistan well. I think he is amongst the top 5 batsmen of Pakistan (Late Hanif sahib, Zaheer, Miandad, Younis)   and difficult to choose between Inzamam / Yousuf / Saeed Anwar / Majid for the 5th one. Just my opinion
