I wish the PM’s office had published the qualifications and experience of these advisers and whether the qualification and experience is relevant to their responsibility.

I personally, couldn’t care less if they are penny less or millionaires.

Why take only an extreme position?

Why not accept that the Armed Forces in the past defended the country and will do so again in future if need be.

And at the other end of the spectrum, the Armed forces have done wrongs as well. Without going in to detail, I will mention Violation of the Constitution and building huge commercial empire( which other Armed Forces of the world has done it)

It should also be remembered that all the Military Personnel do a job (defend the country) for which they are paid and a pension when they retire. When they take up the job, they know that there is a possibility that they might lose their life.

Whilst a sacrifice of life should be and is appreciated by the nation, it should not be used as a justification for all other evils.

I never suggested that he should be removed from office or public should run a campaign against him

I simply posed a question that in view of his poor or none governance and his inability to control his ministers, should he himself throw the towel?

In my opinion if he did that, he will command more of public’s respect. Otherwise he too will pick up the “Corruption” allegations. Corruption is not just money oriented concept. Abuse of power is corruption too (HBL and Post contract without tender is the latest example).

I never said I am anyone’s supporter.

I am not a political animal and don’t belong to any party. I observe and if a government adopts the right policy and takes right decisions to implement that policy, then I support that decision. Reverse is the case if wrong decisions are taken.

If I were Imran, I would dismiss the Minister/official responsible. Keeping quiet and not taking any action makes him a complicit.

I think the situation is much serious than what you have pointed out.

I used to be an ardent fan of Imran as a cricketer and when it appeared that he might become the PM, I was concerned of his inexperience but then thought, yes he will make mistakes but he will correct his mistakes like he did when he was cricket captain.

But time and again, I have observed that he ends up making a mistake but does not possess the courage to admit and correct the mistake. It is very sad for me to admit that I am now beginning to believe that he is not competent for the job.

I think he should call it a day now and not wait for the elections.
