I am not sure which one of this is the issue:

1. Pakistanis owning wealth
2. Pakistanis keeping money in Swiss or any other offshore banks
3. Source of this money / wealth

In my opinion everyone has the right to make money as per their desires, wishes and efforts but no one has the right to make money illegally. As far as keeping the wealth in local banks or offshore banks is concerned, I think people would keep money or invest their money in places where they feel more secured. Since some or many Pakistanis are keeping money in offshore banks, there is a possibility that they feel lack of security in Pakistan and or it may be ill-gotten money. If Pakistanis feel insecure to keep their money in their own country, I cannot blame them. If they are keeping money outside as it was earned through illegal means, then they should be penalized as per the law of the land.Who will bell the cat?

why wouldn’t they move their money to some other countries e.g. Dubai, Turkey etc.

زرداری یہ کام کرکے پھنس چکا ہے کیونکہ پہلے تو شائد کلیر نہیں تھا کہ رقم کس کی ہے مگر اب بینک کے پاس منی ٹرانسفر کا تمام ریکارڈ موجود ہے
