Yes so RIGHTCritics of NS always say NS Jab Bhi Power Main Aata Hai, Fouj Say Panga Laita HaiThis is one main reason as he tries to be little assertive in Foreign Policy, actually he tried and then 2014 Dharna weakened him so much that he had to give in Establishment demands. PPP was interested only on plundering while they are there so they never bothered and always said YES to whatever Bootwala said on these issues. This is also the reason that he is taking foreign minister portfolio in his own hands as it will be easy for anyone to toe army’s line even close aides of NS. Cyril leak is not far from reality (although there could be better ways of leaking this, like an interview from IG police rather than exchange at the highest level). We all seel responsibility fo events, when was the last time that army General was sacked for lack of performance?Why should DG ISI not sacked on Quetta incident yesterday?

Whole basis of this Dharna at this time is the timing of retirement of General Sharif, PTI feels that this General has earned the credibility and his goodwill can win hearts and minds of public and there will be greater acceptability for him in masses. Second important thing we don’t consider in Pakitan that these Generals still take cue from Amreeka Bahadur and possibility of Hillary which is seen closer to Sharifs reduces odds of any army takeover in future and convergence of these two important factors make November an important month.Million Dollar question is Does General Raheel Sharif wants to takeover, I think NO, General Sab is a fan of Shahid Afridi and he must know consequences of extending his wellcome stay forcefully but then there remains a small probability of takeover from junior ranks and probability is very very little. Noon will become very active on media with aggressive stance against Imran Khan and will seek assistance form Javed Hashmi, who will come on media on every channel and name Pasha / Abbassi and two Core Commanders at that time, one Mangla and other he did not name for some reasons. Noon will also propogate in next few days that PTI is colluding with banned outfits (there is some truth in it), it will have two implications, it will put army on defensive as they are seen to supporting them so they will have to take action against them and second it will scare general public because they will see definite bloodshed in their presence so turnout may be smaller than ONE MILLION gathered last time.Qadri will not come to Pakistan, he knows his return ticket will be wasted.ah yes answer to your question before i forget, Yes there will be losts of arrests including house arrest of IK (SC will provide basis for that), there will be some blood shed and may be some targeted killings, Govt will target any Jihadi (or someone looking like one) and malign IK in future as supported by extermists.If things go out of hand, NS will have another heart issue, rush to London, will probably appoint SS to look after and will return when things settle down.

But if he knocked NS out of the systen then our political scene will become very ugly and he will be knocked out too very soon, which will be very sad for the democratic process which has started in true sense in Pakistan.

Shami Bhai, I am well, hamdolillah, hope all is well with you.Money Laundering: There is a general misconception about this term, only dirty money is laundered, money with legit sources can’t be laundered or cleansed, however there could be a lesser charge for unauthorized transfer, there is differene between the two. I will expalin with an example, suppose I am taking 15000 Euros out of UK and legal limit without informing authorities is 10000 euros. I am caught at the airport with the money, authorities will hold my money and ask for source of income, if I can prove that this came from my bank or any other means at my disposal, they can penalize me for taking more than alllowed allowance at one time but can’t confiscate all the amount. However if can’t prove source of these funds, then authorities can confiscate whole amount and I will be prosecuted with lot more investigations. This is little difference between laundering and illegal transfer i was trying to convey.In my opinion, Sharifs can prove that they had sources to fund these apartements as you are told full amount of the properties at current value and current exchange rate, what you have to understand that they had a mortgage on these properties so they will only have to prove advance payment sources which was in few crors in Pak rupee not billions.I don’t consider Sharifs as saints as they made billions through SROs and transferred billions out of country. If you recall they actually made it legal to bring in and take out any amount of foreign exchange (not Pak Rupees) (in think 1997), I think they can claim that money went out during that era, when there was not bar on taking foreign exchange out of country. They will probably keep NS out of this game, they will show GIFT from grandfather to Grandsons, Mian Sharif to Hassan to Hussain. PTI stalwarts have been demanding punish the culprits, I suppose time is coming to that point, it will be vindictive no doubt as they will disqualify JT in first place as there is glaring evidence and then there is case against Khan sab himself, he used amensty during Musharraf ear to cleans his money, where did  that money came from, a lot of questions will be asked in coming days. Irony is that PTI can’t even say why us as they have been demanding it.

Barca Bhai, You are right actually, Zardari had to keep his mouth shut and complete his term, he tried once to test waters and then never came out of President House, second time he tried about a year ago and then left country, he will have to wait till approval of next COAS to return. Nawaz Sharif could do the same, be subservient of the Army, complete his term but in my opinion he genuinely seek settlement of Kashmir and from Indian perspective that is not possible if they had to deal with just army.

NS can confront Army to an extent, they have proofs of Pasha’s involvement in last Dharna but don’t want to openly confront Army as it would mean a War with army, but they are not that stupid to suicide till a point their govt is sacked and they have to go to public again.

Noon is at batting crease at the moment and they see heading towards victory for next general elections and IK is saying, you can’t play anymore, why because 25 years ago, you tempered the ball. IK sees little opportunity for him in next elections so trying his best to bring a new dispensation to stay relevant. For IK it is a survival game now.
