لیکن میں جھوٹ نہیں بول سکتا، اس سے پہلے ہم نے سری لنکا کو ہرایا، ساوتھ افریقہ کو ہرایا، انگلینڈ کو ہرایا مگر جو مزہ انڈیا کو ہرانے کا آیا وہ پہلے کبھی نہ آیااس کی وجہ ہم نہیں انڈینز ہیں جنہوں نے میچ سے قبل ایک ہایپ بنا دی تھی اور وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ جو مزہ انہیں پاکستانیوں کو ہرانے میں آتا ہے وہ اور کسی کو پرانے مین نہیںوہ ساری دنیا سے کھلاڑی آی پی ایل میں بلواتے ہیں مگر پاکستانی کھلاڑی نہیں، حالانکہ اس کے نتیجے میں آپس کی محبت بڑھ جاتی، انڈیا نے ہمیں سیریز دینے سے انکار کردیا اور اندر کھاتے دیگر ممالک کو بھی اس پر قائل کرکے ان کو بھی پاکستان میں کھیلنے سے روک دیا، بنگلی دیش جیسے جنکو کرکٹ میں لانے کیلئے پاکستان نے ٹیسٹ میچ ہارا وہ بھی یہاں آنے سے انکار کرچکےانڈیا کھیل کر جیتتا تو کوی بات بھی تھی لیکن انہوں نے ہوچھے ہتھکنڈے آزماے جس کے نتیجے میں نفرتیں بڑھیں اور نوبت یہاں تک آگئی

Problem is “politics” between the two sets of politicians. Nothing to do with sports and in particular cricket. If you had dad a chance to view/listen to the past Indian Cricket stars, you would have noticed how uninhibited praise they poured over the Pakistan’s performance. Sport is supposed to be unifying source not hatred. Politics must not be mixed with sport because the Results are very unpleasant. Remember, Apartheid in South Africa, team selection politics in PCB etc.Remember at the end of the day it is only a game. The players get on with each other like a house on fire. Why should the general public take the course of hatred.I too wanted Pakistan to win and enjoyed the victory but was disappointed that it was not a good game on the day as it turned out to be a one-sided game which is not good for a spectator even a biased one.

Whatever explanations you come up with, it is a fact that every sport thrives on rivalries, be it cricket ashes, or football matches between England and Germany, Argentine and Brazil or between Turkey and Greece.

Was not advocating abandonment of rivalries. That adds  spice and motivates players but the rivalry should be like Ashes and not a War.

Every action has a reaction, right?

India was so confident that whole of their media was singing war songs for last 4 days and thus earned a reaction after such a thumping defeat. But even then I haven’t seen indecency being uttered on Pakistani channels or by our public figures.

There was a single Indian talk-show where their players of yesterdays praised Pakistani bowling, otherwise all their tv channels were predicting/comparing the match and the expected result to the surgical strikes on LOC.

Talking of those Indian players of the past praising Pakistan, they had very little choice because in their times Pakistan had beaten them 8/10 matches and they knew what Pakistan was capable of when in the zone.

What I wrote is applicable to both sides, not just Pakistan.As for “every action has a reaction” is concerned, it is true but then why is that every time the reaction has to be of equal or even bigger force?I believe that people of both countries, barring exceptions are okay with each other. It is always the irresponsible Media which for the promotion of their own agenda publish inflammatory broadcasts against each other.

Yeh tou hamaray muhallay ki khush-qismati hai…. Mein tou Oval mein tha varna aap ko Southall mein dakhil honay se rok sakta tha…….Boroadway peh koi European chehra bhi nazxar aya kiya?

Should not be walking out alone at night in an area of majority Indianas.I have stood many a times on a Broadway footpath and observed that there is hardly an European face to be seen. Lovely aroma of Desi food and lots of Punjaabi…………….like Kidaaaan??? Alrat waaan????

I think it is quite a mix of Indian, Pakistan population in South Hall. Pakistani fans were celebrating the win in huge number and most of the roads were closed, stayed there half an hour and came back home.
