1980’s ki dehaye main abhi bachpana hi tha mager abhi tak yaad hay Kuwait main kya Pakistani aur kya Indian.. Rafi sahab kay songs ko deewange ki had tak suntay thay chahay koi bhi mauka ho.

I read it in the hazy morning and thought to post it on forum.

We normally talk about ‘Democracy’ as a system of governance dominated by the choices of majority through the electoral process.

John Dewey had an interesting insight into the phenomenon of democracy where the shared values of society get the chance of synthesis and then to evolve in order to get fresh ideas about our a priori beliefs.

The line that touched my heart was—paraphrased of course, like this;

Our unexamined and untested beliefs and ideas can’t be evaluated by an objective criterion but by putting them in practice. And by assessing their outcomes only we could determine thier merit and viability in our times. 

As you’ve rightly alluded Dewey’s constructs of pragmatism and scientific objectivity can become one of the powerful tools to create the meaningful changes in developed and hybrid democracies like Pakistan.

Sir he says clearly that Religion as a regressive ideology restrict its followers to think freely, or to inquire about the nature of reality.

I know and acknowledged this point that the pimps of religion and its corrupt handlers have done their dirty work to create this mess in our society.

I have stated this categorically few weeks ago that I’ll never ever comment on the Political or in fact any affairs of Pakistan but your usual biasness and hypocrisy steeped in the grunge of your own atheist filth has forced me to correct you (once again) and make the record straight for your twisted frame of mind:

Religion has nothing to do to provide the lifeline or source to any project of tyranny, pogrom, mind control and perpetuating the essence of totalitarianism.

It’s the dirty and dispicable work of religious fanatics, ambitious opportunists and power hungry connivers who use the message and articles of faith to create the substance of conflict and intolerance in a polity as a social engineering program.
