Terrorism decreased by 82pc in Punjab during PML-N’s tenure: report
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led Punjab government on Sunday avowed complete eradication of menace of terrorism from Punjab in Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) five year tenure.
A report compiled by Punjab Home Ministry states incidents of terrorism plummeted by massive 82pc during PML-N’s tenure.
The report further states terrorism was mainly sponsored by India’s Research and Analyst Wing (RAW) and Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security (NDS).
A special briefing was given to Punjab Chief Minister and members of the cabinet. The report states army personnel tendered unrivalled sacrifices in this regard. The cabinet paid tribute to Pak Army for bringing lasting peace in the province.
Tribute was also given to Punjab Police and their martyrs for bringing normalcy in the Punjab.
