MODERATION

As most of you will know, I am a long standing member of the Forum.

I have always advocated and supported the need for good Moderation for the Forum.

Finally, Judge (the new Moderator) was chosen and appointed by Atif. My first impressions for the style and approach were good and I expressed my views directly both to the Judge and Atif.

But I regret to say that of lately, the Moderation has become sub-standard. It has also become haphazard and there is no consistency. Most worrying is the Mannerism and the choice of vocabulary used by the judge.

He should be an example for us to follow. I am afraid to say that he is gradually becoming a bad example to follow.

I would like him to improve the mannerism, the language and the consistency. And in this regard, I appeal all members to help and assist the judge.

I realized that my post was unnecesary and was misuse of power. I should never give my opinion in any discussion.

I think I should resign from the post if you people decide that I am not suitable for this post. (Only you three people have this right).

آپ کو بد دل ہونے اور آستیفہ دینے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے. میرے کومنٹس سے آپکا دل دکھا ہے تو آپ سے معزرت خواہ ہوں

آپ کے پاس کسی بھی نامناسب صورتحال کو کنٹرول کرنے کے مکمل اختیارات ہیں. آپ جسے چاہیں اور جتنا عرصۂ چاہیں بین کر سکتے ہیں حتی کہ آپ کے پاس کسی کو مستقل بین کرنے یا بین اٹھانے کے مکمل اختیارات ہیں

کوئی متاثرہ فریق آپکے فیصلے پر تنقید تو کر سکتا ہے لیکن آپ کو اپنا فیصلہ واپس لینے پر مجبور نہیں کر سکتا ہے. آپ کا فیصلہ حتمی فیصلہ ہے

آپ کے ساتھ اگر کوئی بد تمیزی کرتا ہے تو آپ کو اسے اس بدتمیزی پر بھی سزا کا مکمل اختیار ہے

بس ضرورت اس بات کی ہے کہ آپ جج بنیں، فریق مخالف کے وکیل نہ بنیں

Judge sahib i think you are suitable for the post and have right to give opinion like other members. and also have right to control population who misuse their membership

آپ نے مجھ سے پوچھا نہیں ..لیکن ایک ” سمجھدار ” ممبر ہونے کے ناتے میں اپنا ان پٹ دے سکتی ہوں ..

سو فار آپ ٹھیک جا رہے ہیں ..البتہ آپ کی  متذکرہ پوسٹ غیر ضروری تھی ..آپ اپنی رائے بھی دیں ..ایک عام  ممبر کی طرح  ڈسکشن میں باقاعدہ حصہ  بھی لیں …یہاں کوئی باقاعدہ سرکاری عہدہ  تو آپ کو ملا ہوا نہیں ہے کہ آپ سیاست یعنی فورم کی ڈسکشن میں حصہ  نہیں لے سکتے ..ہاں البتہ آپ کو ایک اضافی ذمہ داری دی گئی ہے ..فورم کا ماحول مہذب رکھنے کی ..یہ ذمہ داری ساتھ ساتھ نبھائ جا سکتی ہے

آپ اگر ساتھ ساتھ ڈسکشن میں حصہ  لیں تو کم از کم میرے لئے خوشی کی بات ہو گی ..اور میرے نزدیک میری خوشی بہت اہم ہے ..اس لئے آپ اسی عہدے پر براجمان رہتے ہوئے کنٹرول بھی کریں

I was waiting for GEOG’s input but have decided to give my input.

There is a general agreement that the Moderator should be able to participate in any ongoing discussion. However, I believe that the Moderator should not take part in any discussion as a “Moderator”. Instead, he should open an additional ID with an ID other than Moderator for this purpose. This will ensure that the Moderator does not run the risk of, as Bawa Ji pointed out, acting like a Wakeel  for  the opposition.

The Moderator as pointed out by Bawa Ji is free to punish those who misbehave. BUT, the Moderator must first familiarise himself with the Forum Rules and if need be amend, update these rules.

جج صاب بس تھوڑی پنجابی سیکھ لیں باقی کوئی مسلہ نہیں

اسی فورم پر ہم نے ایک ایسا بھی جج بھگتایا ہے جو املا کی غلطی پر پہلے بین اور پھر سوری سوری کر لیتا تھا اپکا تو جیںوین زبان سمجھنے کا مسلہ ہے

جیتے رہیے اگلے دس بارہ ہزار بین لگانے کو – جی جی میں صرف اپنی ہی بات کر رہا ہوں اور ایک دو شامی کے ابھی تک بچا ہوا ہے

آپ اپنی تجویز یوں کھلے عام نہ دیا کرو ایسا نہ ہو کوی چوری کرلے؟

جج کو اچھے پنگے میں ڈالا ہے تم نے بے چارہ موڈریشن اور پوسٹ بازی کے درمیان ہی لٹکا رہا کرے کبھی لاگ ان تو کبھی لاگ آوٹ
