Long March and resignations is a futile exercise. Long marches are sponsored by GHQ be it Nawaz Sharif’s 2007 or Benazir’s 1993 long march. This time it’s different not only long march is not backed by GHQ but it is more against GHQ than sitting govt.

PMLN is willing to resign because it eyes govt in center and Punjab if things go there way. PPP even best case scenario will be where it is now, Sindh govt. If PMLN had Punjab govt to lose they would be very reluctant to go to extremes like resignations.

Zardari is an idiot, he should have given the rationale for not resigning not first Nawaz Sharif should come back.

If PDM resigns govt will hold bielections which PDM will boycott and govt will get almost 100% majority and they will be able to undo 18th amendment & current NFC award and that will further strengthen GHQ, Instead he said we will resign once Miyan Sb comes back.

As much as PTI or IK say they are the party in this conflict they are not. They are mere puppet of GHQ in this civilian supremacy battle, the role that both PPP & PMLN had played in the past
