Apathy

In my opinion, apathy is a very good indicator of underlying issues. It is also an indicator of the value one assigns to their situation, their circumstances and their surroundings. Apathy, in my opinion could also ruin relationships. At a macro level, the leaders of nation should be able to judge if the nation is apathetic or is solidly behind them. In a relationship, the responses or lack of it, should be a clear sign of the apathy towards the seeker.

Often apathy could be wrongly perceived as everything issues good and there is support but it is muted.

Unless it is addressed in a timely fashion, it could inflict serious damages.

میں نے دوستی یاری کے ناطے آپ دونوں کو لائک دیا ہے، آپ چپکے سے اردو میں میرے کان میں بتاو کہ جے بھائی کیا کہنا چاہتے ہیں تاکہ میں بھی تبصرہ کرسکوں۔ وہ اپاتھی کہہ رہے ہیں آپ پاتھی کہہ رہے ہو، میں کنفیوز ہوگیا ہوں کہ پاتھی کا یہاں کیا موقع ہے؟؟۔

Sounds like you got in trouble for something and this thread is an attempt to create a counter argument. There is nothing good about apathy, show your enthusiasm to address immediate concerns.

باقی میں چونکہ منتقم مزاج ہوں اس لئے انگریزی سے انتقام لیتے ہوے اپاتھی کا الف غائب کرکے اسے پاتھی لکھ دیا ہے۔ پھر پاتھی لکھنے سے معنوں کے نئے جہان کھل گئے تو اسی سبب تبصرہ میں بھی تبدیلیاں کرنی پڑیں کیونکہ انگریزوں نے بھی ہمارے کئ الفاظ مثلا اسکول کا الف غائب کردیا تھا اور انگریزی میں اسے سکول لکھتے ہیں لہذا مجھے بھی انہیں سبق سکھانا پڑا

اگر اپاتھی کا مطلب بے حسی ہے تو میں آپ سے سو فیصد متفق ہوں کہ اس عادت یا رویئے کا ہونا کسی بھی انسان کیلئے بالکل بھی اچھا نہیں بے حسی کی اعلی ترین مثالیں ہمارے حکمران ہیں

Thanks. I think this time I did not get into any trouble nor am I attempting to throw a counter argument. There were three things in my mind:

1. General apathy that I see, read or hear about in our society and specially in Pakistan. I do see indifference in the western society but I think that back home apathy has become a part of general behaviour across various segments of society.
2. Apathy that I display in my relationships
3. General apathy towards this forum

Majority of Pakistani nation is suffering apathy including Prime Minister Imran Khan, Who  remembered what he said a year ago .  Imran khan was very activate before become Prime Minister he gave so many false hope to nations like free education building house and army budget will be reduce.  Now he is just passing his time.

So, your assessment is that had he not given the false hopes to the nation he would not be the PM and that would have caused him the enough grief and it could turn in to a national Apathy . But since he has provided the false hopes, the nation has drowned in to the Apathy of that false hopes and still struggling with it. On the other hand , had he given the true hopes and he could still failed it, the nation would have be more enthusiastic and after giving true hopes, if he still  won’t be PM that could have cause the nation same Apathy as now ?

میں اگر بے حسی کی شکایت کر رہا ہوں تو کیا ایسا ممکن ہے کے قومی سطح پر ہم بے حس سے زیادہ سب کچھ سننے ، دیکھنے اور سہنے کے باوجود زیادہ برداشت کرنے لگ گئے ہیں . شاید جس کو میں بے حسی سمجھ رہا ہوں وہ قوت برداشت ہے

انفرادی سطح پر کیا ایسا ممکن ہے کے میری بے حسی کے پیچھے وہ رویہ ہو جو دوسروں نےمجھ سے اپنایا ہو اور جواب میں میں بے حس ہو گیا ہوں. یا ایسا ممکن ہے کے میرے رویہ نے دوسروں کی مجھ سے بے حس کر ڈالا ہے

اس محفل کی حد تک ، اگر بے حسی ہے، تو کیا اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کے اس محفل یا اس محفل کے فرد یا تمام شرکاء کے ساتھ ہمارا کوئی قلبی تعلق نہیں ہے لہٰذا بے حسی سے زیادہ لاتعلقی کا رویہ اپنایا ہوا ہے

Dear Zaidi , the nation is not tough mercenary like you but suffering with  Alzheimer’s disease since long. You are rightly got my point.  There are so many  lack of feeling, emotion, interest in nation mind and this herd of 20 carorh people need a Charwa like Imran Khan, who will lead them into wolf Den and  He knows what grass this Herd Need
