I want to say something on Moderation

Moderation (my hobby horse)

Moderation is a difficult task. When two bloggers are at each other’s throat, the Moderator has to intervene at the right time but the Moderator cannot be there 24 hours. But it is important that such matters are brought to attention of the moderators by members by reporting the offending post.

I have seen an example of Moderation after the bloggers have posted.

One blogger is told……..I have deleted your post. Avoid using such language again. (Excellent Moderation)

Other blogger is told…. Watch your mouth (……..Moderation)

You have to be even-handed in your moderation, dear Moderator, otherwise people will accuse you of Regional bias.

بہت سارے ممبران دوسرے کو گھٹیا بات لکھنا یا کہنا اپنا حق سمجھتے ہیں مگر دوسرے کا جواب سننا ان کے بس میں نہیں ہوتا ایسے موقع پر موڈ صاحب کو دیکھنا چاہئے کہ پہل کس نے کی اور سارا قصور پہل کرنے والے کا ہی ہونا چاہئے۔ یہاں ایک گھٹیا سا شخص میری ہر پوسٹ پر بکواس کرنا اپنا فریضہ سمجھتا ہے مگر جواب دینے پر موڈ مجھے ہی نصیحت کردیتا ہے

موڈ مجھے بتاے کہ کیا میں پوسٹ کرنا بند کردوں یا فورم سے چلا جاوں؟

اگر آپ کو دکھای دے رہا ہے کہ میں کسی کو مخاطب بھی نہیں کررہا  پھر بھی وہ مجھے قوٹ کررہا ہے اور گھٹیا فقرے بازی کررہا ہے تو اور کیا ثبوت چاہئے اسے بین نہیں کرنا تو کم ازکم اس کی گھٹیا پوسٹ کو ہی ڈیلیٹ کرکے اس کے لکھنے پر قدغن لگا دی جاے یعنی وہ فورم پر آے اور پڑھے مگر کچھ عرصہ  تک یا ایک ہفتہ تک لکھنے سے محروم رہے  اگر وہ دوبارہ یہی گھٹیا حرکت کرے تو یہی وقت بڑھا کر ایک ماہ کردیا جاے

مجھے خوشی ہے کہ اس گھٹیا شخص کی گھٹیا سوچ اور جھوٹ دوسرے ممبرز پر بھی آشکار ہو رہی ہے۔ 

ملاحظہ کیجئے۔

یہ ہے اس گھٹیا شخص کا کردار جو تقریباً تمام پاکستان کی قوموں کو گالیاں دے چکا ہے۔ افغان و پشتون تو اس کے خصوصی نشانے پر ہیں ۔ اب ایسے شخص کو روز چھتر نا مارے جائیں تو اور کیا علاج ہو سکتا ہے ایسے نفسیاتی مریض کا؟

Is it not possible that both of you (kickboxer and believer) stop hating each other? If you dislike other person’s post, by all means express your disagreement but without disrespecting the other person, without use of insulting vocabulary?

I am sure it is possible. What do both of you think?

Dear believer12! I have always placed you as a mature blogger. Have I ever banned you, ever put you in que? Any of your post deleted by me? Although we have a lot of political and religious differences between us.

Be informed that I always put my pressure on kick boxer because in our culture younger can’t disagree elders and I know kick boxer will never argue with me for injustice which I am doing to him.

Its sad for me that you’re accusing me of nepotism. Time to leave the planet yar.

Forget about Ban. Just show more patience and control your anger when discussing something with a member. That is all.

Remember not every one will agree with your view point.

انجان سے بہتر ہے انسان بننا  
مگر اس میں پڑتی ہے محنت زیادہ

قیدو نہیں کیدو ہوتا ہے

نہ اردو ہے نہ انگریزی
