عجیب محب وطن لوگ تھے،
دوسرے ملک کی شہریت نہیں چھوڑی لیکن پاکستان کی خدمت چھوڑ دی

The comment by Mushad Ullah Khan about the two  special assistants to the PM is both misplaced and  very unkind. Both of them, Tania Aidrus and Dr. Zafar Mirza have said that they came to Pakistan on the personal invitation of the PM, Imran Khan and are resigning due to the negative impact the disclosure of their dual nationality is having on the Government.

Did the PM not know the rules about dual nationality in Pakistan especially when the special assistant are allowed the cabinet status?

Did the PM not know that these two had dual nationality?

Who is guilty then? It is the PM and not the resigning ones. So, do not question their loyalty to Pakistan. Instead, mourn the lack of intelligence and incompetence of the Prime Minister.

وزیراعظم عمران خان کے معاون خصوصی برائے صحت ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا کے استعفے کی وجوہات سامنے آگئیں۔

ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا نے آج اپنے عہدے سے استعفیٰ دے دیا تھا، جسے وزیراعظم عمران خان نے منظور کرلیا۔

ذرائع کے مطابق ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا نے بھارت سے خلاف ضابطہ ادویات درآمد کرنے میں کردار ادا کیا۔ وزیراعظم کے حکم پر انکوائری کے دوران اس معاملے میں ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا اور ایک مشیر کا نام آیا ہے۔

ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا اسلام آباد کے اسپتالوں اور میڈیکل اداروں کے سربراہ تعینات کرنے میں بھی ناکام رہے۔

ذرائع کا کہنا تھا کہ وزیراعظم ادویات ساز کمپنیوں کی ازخود قیمت بڑھانے کا اختیار ختم کرنا چاہتے تھے، جبکہ ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا نے ادویات ساز کمپنیوں کا اختیار واپس لینے کی سمری واپس لے لی تھی۔

وزیراعظم عمران خان کے حکم پر ادویات ساز کمپنیوں کا اختیار واپس لینے کی سمری دوبارہ منگوائی گئی، جبکہ ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا نے کابینہ اجلاس میں ادویات ساز کمپنیوں کا اختیار واپس لینے کی سمری کی مخالفت کی تھی۔

اس کے بعد وزیراعظم نے کابینہ میں ادویات ساز کمپنیوں کا اختیار واپس لینے کی سمری منظور کرلی تھی۔

ذرائع نے بتایا کہ وزیراعظم عمران خان ادویات اسکینڈل کے بعد ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا کو پہلے ہی ہٹانا چاہتے تھے لیکن عالمگیر وبا کورونا وائرس کے پھیلنے کے باعث ایسا نہیں کیا گیا۔

اسکینڈل کے حوالے سے موصول دستاویزات کے مطابق وفاقی کابینہ نے 9 اگست 2019 کو بھارت سے درآمدات پر پابندی لگائی، تاہم وفاقی کابینہ کے بجائے وزیراعظم آفس سے 25 اگست کو فیصلے میں ترمیم کروائی گئی۔

دستاویز کے مطابق سپریم کورٹ کے فیصلے کی روشنی میں وزیرِ اعظم آفس منظوری دینے کا مجاز نہیں۔

اس دستاویز میں بتایا گیا کہ مشیرِ تجارت عبدالرزاق داؤد اور معاون خصوصی ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا نے ملاقات کی جس کے بعد وزارتِ تجارت نے 24 اگست 2019 کو کابینہ ڈویژن کو فیصلے میں ترمیم کے لیے خط لکھا۔

رولز آف بزنس کے مطابق کابینہ فیصلے میں ترمیم کے لیے 24 گھنٹوں میں رجوع کرنا لازم تھا۔

دستاویز کے مطابق ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا کی ڈی جی ٹریڈ پالسی محمد اشرف سے رابطے کی انکوائری مکمل کی گئی۔

ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا نے وفاقی کابینہ کے اجلاس میں سوالات اٹھنے پر لاعلمی کا اظہار کیا تھا۔

I thought the real reason for her resigning is some undisclosed deal under the table with the organizations which are still attached with her old posts and some personal relationship with their executives.. Correct me if I am wrong . It couldn’t be a just simple matter of duel nationality since Bongi khan is still supports it .

SLAMABAD: In the backdrop of great public scrutiny over the matter of dual nationalities held by cabinet members, Tania Aidrus and Dr Zafar Mirza on Wednesday said that they have resigned from their posts as the special assistants to the prime minister (SAPM) on Digital Pakistan and National Health, respectively.

The resignations have been accepted by the prime minister.

The announcement came amid criticism levelled against several special assistants over possession of dual citizenship and after the list of assets they own was made public by the government.

Ex-Google executive Aidrus, in a post on Twitter, said she was resigning “in the greater public interest” after she faced criticism for holding a Canadian nationality.

“Criticism levied towards the state as a consequence of my citizenship status is clouding the purpose of Digital Pakistan. In the greater public interest, I have submitted my resignation from the SAPM role,” she wrote on Twitter.
