پاکستان ہے یہاں ایسا ہی چلتا ہے

Because you did it, so I will do the same and then you will do the same?

    What a logic!

It wasn’t success and it cannot be a success. Through Imran & Trump are alike in letter and spirit but our strategic interests don’t overlap. America wants graceful exit from Afghanistan and Pakistan can’t provide them for strategic reasons. The assurances that Imran gave are above his pay grade.

What are those strategic reasons which stand in the way. Pakistan always wanted Talban to get a slice of Kabul, get assurances against BLA,  keep India out of the equation and get USA out of the region. How do these strategies collide with Trump’s wish to exit gracefully. There may be some practical impediments in persuading Talban to have a final written settlement with the sitting government in Kabul  but talking to them will they surely do.

Pakistan wants friendly Govt in Kabul, they didn’t give up their assets after 911, after Osama captured from within a mile of PMA why would they do now when they know soon Kabul can be ruled by these fisadies. BTW Taliban rejected talks with govt in Kabul yet again.
