Re: ریاست مدینہ کے دعوہ دار
Qarar Sahib Agreed CCPO Lahore cannot way what he said. And there responsibly has no time and space boundaries. When it comes to safety personal responsibility comes before state. In developed metropolitans like NYC, Chicago, Paris there are many areas where even men avoid to go when it’s dark and if they do would like to get out as soon as they can. No one deserves this sort ending. It’s not victim shaming. It’s more about highlighting personal responsibility. If her car broke down it’s different but when you run out of gas in the middle of no where, man or woman, day or night, rape or no rape, robbery or robbery, there is a negligence on driver’s part, 95% of the drivers would avoid that. But of course you and I can say that police can’t and that too on TV
“Right time, right place, right statement”.
I think these three factors are missing in the case where the CCPO made a statement.
I am not good at all at empathy. When it comes to empathy, one has to put aside the logic until such time when it is appropriate.
Humans need empathy and not a lecture when they have gone through misery and in this case misery of lifetime.
