Good that you have raised this point and i had asked this point to their policy makers, their opinion was that they will see significant improvement in exports once they have resolved power crisis in the country. NS Govt was pretty much sure that he will be able to the bridge the gap with friends in Gulf and possibly Chinese help. Now what have we done, reduced our currency by 40 percent, imported 15 percent inflation, no chance of any betterment in our exports as our political front is going to get dirtier each day so very little chance of any major development in our industrial sector which is only hope for turning economic table. I have just returned from Pakistan and it really is very bad in trade, industry, real estate and every sector of the economy and no one know what to do to turn it around. For me Hafeez Sheikh and Baqir are very bad choice, Asad Umer would have not done this much damange but we know who is calling the shot to how it is being called. dire straits, Very sad indeed.
Bad excuse. PMLN gave uninterrupted energy supply to the industry. Load-shedding was only for the domestic sector.
